Key Lean has been shaping progressive house from behind the decks and inside the studio for over a decade. Resident artist at Armada Music and Perfecto Records. Founder of Protagonist Recordings, the label currently holding high position in Beatport's Progressive House chart. His approach to teaching is the same as his approach to the label: quality over quantity, honesty over flattery. He'd rather tell you the truth about a mix than take your money for a lie about it. No. For online lessons, we can plan around what you have (controller, CDJs, Serato, Rekordbox). For in-person in London, you can use the studio setup.
Weekly works best for building habits. Bi-weekly is fine for consolidation. Any less and you'll forget between sessions.
Anything electronic. My specialty is trance, progressive / organic house and melodic techno, but the mixing fundamentals apply to house, techno, trance, drum and bass — anything with a beat and structure.
Yes, when your mixes are ready. I won't push you to submit before that — it hurts your reputation and mine.
